Swallows build their nests mainly in the upper corners of buildings, and our barriers are based on this assumption. The spike type of the barrier is designed to be attached to the wall either with durable glue or screws. Four rows of specially designed spikes prevent swallows from building nests at the junction of the vertical and upper horizontal surfaces of buildings. Another type is a wire barier with supporting rods screwed into wood. The supporting rods are mounted at intervals of approx. 1,5 m in the area where the vertical and horizontal surfaces of the buildings meet, and then eight rows of stainless steel braided wire are stretched into them and their proper tension is ensured by springs at their ends, which effectively prevents swallows from building a nest.
